These sessions will take place weekly from 12:00-12:30pm and will consist of 15-20 minute meditation and mindfulness exercises (either guided or silent), followed by brief check-ins with participants.
These sessions are for those dealing with either chronic Lyme disease or Long Covid symptoms. The purpose of each meeting is to help participants alleviate stress and and to elicit the relaxation response. Numerous studies have shown that when the relaxation response is activated in the body, pain is decreased and our immune system becomes stronger, helping us to recover from illness and to heal from any suffering.
These meetings are purposefully scheduled to only be 30 minutes long, making them less overwhelming and more doable for those who have limited time or stamina for virtual meetings!
